Set between the sea and the mountains - a land of dream medieval hamlets, castles, caves and natural coves

Finale Ligure's outstanding location, along the celebrated Western Italian Riviera, is ideal for active sightseeing seaside holidays in Liguria.

Finale Ligure

Walking or riding, a visit to Finale Ligure’s four different districts (Finalmarina, Finalpia, Varigotti and Finalborgo) is warmly recommended.
Palm trees are located around the House, overlooking the see and the promenade.
Two capes surrounds Finale Ligure: Caprazoppa to the west coast and Capo Noli to the east coast.
In between there are magnificent sand beaches among which the “Baia dei Saraceni”, one of the most famous beach situated near the medieval village of Varigotti.
The Gulf hosts the Island Gallinara and the island Bergeggi.

Sightseeing in the surroundings

Given its unusual setting, lined by the sea and the mountains, Liguria, and especially the Western Italian Riviera, is ideal for enjoying hikes through history and nature.

A short climb up the mountains above Finale Ligure is enough to get a glance of the ruins of Castle Gavone, in Frazione Perti. Castle San Giovanni and the Castelfranco Fortress are even closer destinations – more recent and open to the public.

We also suggest a nice route along the Manie plateau, in the hinterland of Finale, Varigotti and Noli, an area scattered with caves inhabited as early as in the Palaeolithic age.

Finale Ligure, heaven for sport lovers

Trekking, Nordic walking, beach Nordic walking, mountain bike (freeride, endure, crosscountry, downhill), mountaineering, rock-climbing, canyoning, sail boat, windsurf, diving, snorkeling, fishing, paraglide, horseback riding, and lots more available in Finale Ligure…

It is great to admire the sea from the scenic terrace
